Republicans have already made it harder for Americans to afford healthcare, housing, and groceries.

Here's the deal: The SAVE Act is a modern-day poll tax, a voter suppression bill designed to block millions of eligible Americans from casting a ballot.

That includes millions of women who changed their names after marriage — around 79% of women — and no longer match their birth certificates.

At a time when American families are struggling to pay rent and buy groceries in the middle of an affordability crisis, Republicans have decided that their #1 priority is blocking access at the ballot box.
