Scott Colom needs our help.

Republican operatives are descending on Mississippi to put their thumbs on the scale in the recounts and legal challenges coming down the pike.

Holy cow — check this out, Jason :

Scott Colom leads by 65 votes in Mississippi!

A Democrat is currently leading the race for U.S. Senate in Mississippi (!).

And take a look at that margin:

Sixty-five votes! That's less than a one-hundredth of a percent difference.

Look, we know what's coming next. Republicans are going to do everything they can — and we know they're willing to stoop to dirty tricks and shady tactics. They may have just lost their Senate majority, but they're not just going to let a Democrat hold a Senate seat in Mississippi for six years without a huge fight.

Scott Colom needs Democrats all across the country to step up and help him fight to ensure every vote is counted fairly and accurately — will you rush in a donation — maybe $65, if you can spare it — split between the official Colom Recount Fund and this grassroots team?

Last night’s results were truly incredible. Despite what I've heard, I don't think I'll ever get tired of all this winning.

But here's the deal: As I write this, Republican operatives are descending on Mississippi to put their thumbs on the scale in the recounts and legal challenges coming down the pike.

I'm going to do whatever I can to help Scott Colom fight for a fair, accurate, complete vote count. I hope you'll join me. Split a donation between DMA and the Colom Recount Fund today.

Thank you — more soon,

Amy
