Tonight, I’m holding Mitch McConnell accountable face-to-face

I've been waiting for this moment. I'm sure you have, too.

Jason—tonight, I'll be holding Mitch McConnell accountable in our first (and possibly only) debate of this race.

It's going to be a simple affair—no props, no audience. Just us and the moderator. And frankly, I've been waiting for this moment since I got into this race. Maybe you have, too.

Tonight, I intend to hold nothing back. I'll make sure he answers to the people of Kentucky about why he's given up on essential COVID-19 relief, and why he's choosing instead to focus on jamming through a Supreme Court nominee 22 days before the election. I'll be asking why he's still trying to take away our health care in the middle of a pandemic. I intend to ask him, directly, why WE have always been at the bottom of his list—why the people who reach out to him earnestly looking for help never seem to get a reply, much less action.

It's not a small thing to go up against a 36-year incumbent with seemingly endless special-interest support. But I'll walk onto that stage tonight knowing this team has my back.

The moment I leave the stage, we'll be in a sprint to our final FEC deadline of the election on Wednesday. Before I go toe-to-toe with Mitch tonight, chip in $25 or more and show that we're in this not just to win debates but to win the whole dang election.

Your support means so much—thank you,
Amy
