| Jason, we have an opportunity in this country right now.
We have a chance to make the next four years the most productive for Voting and Civil Rights since 1964-65.
But we can’t do that if we don’t win the Senate. Will you chip in any amount right now to boost my campaign so I can fight for Voting and Civil Rights in a Democratic Senate? Mitch McConnell’s desk has been a legislative graveyard since Republicans took control of the Senate.
We know that with McConnell in power, progress will continue to stall.
That means not passing the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act, Jason. That means a slower march to the Beloved Community that John Lewis championed, a Community based on justice, equal opportunity, and love of one's fellow human beings.
With a Democratic Senate, we can start taking necessary steps toward racial justice, democratic justice, and social justice.
But there won’t be a Democratic Senate if I don’t win my runoff here in Georgia. So please, right now, chip in any amount to support this effort to win the Senate and continue the fight for Voting and Civil Rights: | If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | | Together, we can, and we will make progress in this country.
Thanks for all you do,
Jon |
