It wasn't much of a debate, because my opponent, sitting Senator David Perdue, didn't even show. He's afraid to face the people of Georgia and answer questions about his disgraceful record of death, disease and corruption! When his constituents needed help, instead of listening to public health experts and helping Georgians prepare for the virus, he was buying up stock in vaccine and medical equipment manufacturers. But Jason, even more disgraceful than Perdue's blatant abuse of power and privilege as he worked to enrich himself is the fact that he's been actively blocking relief for working families and ordinary people who are suffering. He is not accountable to his constituents. His failure to even bother showing up to debate me last night is indicative of the kind of Senator he has been for the past six years, and the kind he will continue to be if we don't defeat him.
