So now Senator Perdue is supporting a baseless out-of-state lawsuit to attack the voting rights of Black Georgians, whose record turnout delivered victory for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this state. He is supporting Texas’ baseless lawsuit trying to undo Joe Biden’s win here. Perdue persists in his attack on Black voters despite the pleas of Georgia’s **Republican** election officials, who have warned that Perdue’s support for Trump’s efforts to reverse the election result is a baseless attack on democracy that is putting election workers’ lives at risk. Georgia’s Republican Attorney General has called the lawsuit “constitutionally, legally, and factually wrong.” Instead of trying to overturn the will of the people, Perdue should show up to public forums to make his case for re-election to the voters and get Mitch McConnell to greenlight critical COVID-19 relief that Georgians have been waiting on for months. David Perdue has no interest in serving the people he represents. He only cares about lining his own pockets and keeping Donald Trump happy.
