| Jason,
I am supposed to be debating my opponent, David Perdue, right now in the Atlanta Press Club Debate.
But instead I am debating an empty podium this afternoon, because David Perdue is too scared to debate me.
David Perdue is not just a crook, he’s a coward. He pulled out of our third general election debate *the day after* I called him out for protecting his stock portfolio during the pandemic instead of our health during our second debate. Now he’s refusing to debate me again before our runoff election.
David Perdue thinks he is entitled to this Senate seat. He has no record to run on, no vision to present to the people of Georgia, and no explanation for his multiple stock trading scandals and repeated attempts to take away his constituents’ health care.
This isn’t leadership. This isn’t integrity. This isn’t someone who deserves to be in the United States Senate, much less win re-election. Jason, right now David Perdue and I are neck and neck in the polls. Will you make a donation to help me defeat my spineless opponent and win back Senate control? | If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | | Sitting U.S. Senator David Perdue is too scared to face me again in a public forum.
Perdue doesn’t want me asking him about how he’s been using his Senate office as his own personal piggy bank for years. Whether it was trying to profit off the pandemic or from a Navy contractor's stock while overseeing the Naval fleet, Perdue’s top priority always seems to be himself.
Cowardice and selfishness should not be the defining traits of someone whose job it is to represent you in government.
As Senator, I will go to work every day to fight for my constituents, because I will be accountable to them. I’m not afraid to take tough questions. Jason, if that’s the kind of person you want in the Senate, chip in today to make sure I win this runoff. | If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | | Thank you for being with me,
Jon |
