Ron Johnson has no idea what’s about to hit him

Jason,    When I say that our approach to the midterms is completely different from your typical political operation, this is what I mean: We got rid of the playbook that says spend all your money on TV and hope for the best. We're investing in people — real voices on the ground who are speaking out about what's at stake in this election and willing to expose the people who are actively doing harm to our democracy.   The data suggests this approach is among the most cost-effective at winning over voters and stretching budgets. That's why I need to ask: Will you invest in building our teams on the ground to take on Ron Johnson, Lauren Boebert, and other members of the Sedition Caucus?   I want to show you a few of my favorite examples from the team that's getting started in Wisconsin.    These are Senator Johnson's constituents, and they're speaking out about why Wisconsin can't afford to re-elect him.    One person called out Ron Johnson for "creating more chaos" and "putting forth lies and conspiracy theories" on COVID. Lauren called out his vote against the American Rescue Plan, legislation that was critical to helping working families across the country. As Walter put it, he's "an embarrassment to the state of Wisconsin."    All of that is a lot more powerful coming from real people than it is coming from a scary, anonymous voice on your TV. These are folks who don't have reputations for being political activists — they're just speaking their minds.   This isn't the only approach to take for the midterms, but I believe it's a critical part of a full grassroots effort to make sure that these members of Congress are exposed for what they've done and held accountable at the polls.    We're building these teams right now in Wisconsin and Colorado and are hoping to expand to other target districts as we get closer to the election.
