If you didn't know it by now, we're in the dead heat of the summer midterm campaign season.
So I wanted to remind you of the reason Dirt Road PAC's founder Jaime Harrison started our organization, and the mission he gave us:
"The days of just swooping in every few years and just putting up a candidate, having no grassroots infrastructure and thinking that we're going to win — that's just not working. From supporting Democratic state parties in states like Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana, to candidates in Arkansas, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, and North Carolina, that's the mission Dirt Road PAC has been focused on.
But in order for us to continue and grow our organization, we're counting on grassroots support. As Jaime said, "Rome wasn't built overnight. You've got to have long-term and sustainable investment for it to pay dividends."
