MAGA has brought Congress to a standstill

Jason,   Let's be extremely clear about what's happening in Congress right now.    Thanks to MAGA Republicans, the U.S. House of Representatives is at a standstill. After Kevin McCarthy worked with Democrats to temporarily avoid a government shutdown, Republicans ousted him as speaker. Now, they can't agree on a replacement, leaving an entire branch of government unable to lift a finger — not even to support one of our strongest allies in the wake of horrific terrorist attacks.    I, for one, am angry that Trump's top allies have turned the Capitol building into the world's largest doorstop. As an American, I expect my government to function.
