Starting tonight, a whole lot more of this country is going to be paying attention to this election.
That's a good thing. Most Americans just don't think about Donald Trump every day. They don't see his rallies. They don't come across his deranged social media posts. (Lucky for them.)
But starting tonight, it's a four-month sprint to Election Day, and I predict the more they hear from Trump, the more they'll realize that he's a ticking time bomb for American democracy.

I want to see him deny that his position on Ukraine is a carbon copy of Vladimir Putin's.
I want to see him answer for trying to commit voter fraud in Georgia in the aftermath of the 2020 election. My wish list is long.
Trump must own his anti-democratic behavior — and it needs to start tonight. No matter what, we've got our work cut out for us, and I'm not going to stop until we've completed the mission.
