Before polls open tomorrow, I wanted to take a moment to remind those of you who might not know me as well why I got into this race. I'm running for families like the one I grew up in, on a gravel road in rural Missouri, and the families across Missouri that face similar struggles. I'm running because extremists have played partisan games with Missourians' rights, and it's high time we take our rights back and put our foot down. I don't come from a wealthy family with political connections, nor do I have billionaire donors or personal wealth; I'm the daughter of a waitress and a factory worker, and I was the first in my family to graduate from high school. I know what hard work looks like and how our state can help families like the one I grew up in beat the odds and achieve great things. I'm being outspent in the race, and tomorrow is our chance to send a resounding message about the power of our grassroots movement. If you're with me, I hope you'll join me today with a contribution to my campaign before the polls close tomorrow: |
