Jason,
We started Honor Bound because there's nothing more important right now than electing leaders who know what service is all about. It's not about personal power, or partisanship. It's about making our country stronger by serving others and lifting people up.
Jessica Mason embodies those values. She's a Navy veteran who's returned to her hometown of Dallas to fight for people who have been left behind by our economy. And she's running for Congress in Texas in an open seat that Democrats need to hold to keep the House majority.
That's why Jessica is one of the first candidates Honor Bound PAC has endorsed this cycle. Voters there start casting ballots in just two weeks — will you split a donation with Jessica Mason's campaign and help give her the edge to win that seat?
It's hard to listen to Jessica tell her story and not feel optimistic about what our country's future will look like with people like her in charge.
For her, service didn't end after five years as a Navy medic. She got her Master's in public administration and went back home to Dallas. Having grown up housing insecure, she went to work helping support families living in affordable housing. Having been a kid with holes in her coat pockets, she helped organize coat and toy drives for her community. And she knows that deep down, it's our system that is failing our people, not the other way around.
We'll keep you posted on Jessica's race and will have more endorsements to tell you about soon!
Thanks for all your help, Amy
