My opponent, Sam Liccardo, took thousands from California Waste Solutions, cozied up to their corporate lobbyist, and extended their contract for 15 years—despite the corporation's high contamination rates.
Jason,
My team just released a new TV ad this weekend—have you had a chance to see it?
This kind of corruption has no place in Congress and does not represent the values of our district.
My opponent, Sam Liccardo, took thousands from California Waste Solutions, cozied up to their corporate lobbyist, and extended their contract for 15 years—despite the corporation's high contamination rates.
If Liccardo can be bought off by an ineffective and corrupt trash corporation, imagine who else can buy him if he makes it to Congress. Politicians are supposed to answer to the public, not corporations.
Throughout his time in public service, Evan has defended our most vulnerable and built coalitions to deliver solutions. Now, he's running for Congress at an inflection point for Silicon Valley and the nation.
Our region needs a representative who will lead on maintaining our global competitiveness, combat hate, stand up for the vulnerable, protect reproductive freedom, reduce crime in our communities, and ensure the middle class can once again afford to buy a house and raise a family where they work.
Together, we will usher in a new era of courageous leadership for Silicon Valley.
