Jason, Right now, 4.3 million Floridians–including children, pregnant mothers, seniors, and people with disabilities–rely on Medicaid for access to quality and affordable healthcare. But in Florida, Medicaid eligibility is complicated and fragile. To qualify, people must belong to a covered group AND earn an income below an incredibly strict limit. Even just a couple of hours of overtime or the slightest rise in income could threaten one's eligibility. This isn't just unfair; it's completely unacceptable! No one should have to choose between working hard to be able to provide for their family or losing their healthcare coverage. By expanding Medicaid in Florida, we can build a brighter future where Floridians don't lose healthcare access for working hard and where everyone has access to the care they need to thrive! Will you join the fight by chipping in anything you can to help us put Medicaid expansion on the ballot in 2026? |
Let's do this! Florida Decides Healthcare |
