Jason, Alaska's vast geography and extreme weather can make voting more challenging than in the Lower 48. That's why early voting is crucial for so many Alaskans, especially those in rural communities and remote villages. Now, Gov. Mike Dunleavy wants to make it even harder for Alaskans to cast their ballot by shortening the early voting period! In many rural communities, mail service is unreliable, and early voting locations are limited. As more and more Alaskans are utilizing early voting, Republican extremists are trying to change the rules and silence vulnerable voters who already face significant barriers to the ballot box. Will you chip in anything you can to help our Voter Protection Team fight back and ensure that every Alaskan, no matter where they live, can access the ballot box? |
