| To: Jason From: James Stretch, Campaign Manager, Safe Schools, Safe Communities Re: Yes on 2 Final State of the Campaign Memo Date: October 27, 2025 It's James, the Campaign Manager here at Safe Schools, Safe Communities. With just over a week to go before Election Day, I wanted to give you a quick snapshot of where things stand with our campaign to bring Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs) to Maine. We've diversified our efforts to spread the word about the life-saving power of ERPOs. Our powerful testimonial ad from Arthur, a parent of one of the 18 killed in the Lewiston mass shooting, is showing all across Maine. We launched our yard sign efforts and handed them all out in a matter of days, plastering our signage in every corner of the state. And we've raised $21,273 this month, just shy of our $25,000 goal for October. We need one final push to set up a successful close to our campaign, and we're turning to the folks who've had our backs since the start — this grassroots network. With a week to go until Election Day, will you help save lives in Maine and pass ERPOs by making a contribution before it's too late? |
