Folks, the Electoral College is silencing our voices—and we've had enough.
Pete Buttigieg said it clearly:
This outdated system means the presidency can—and has—gone to candidates who lost the popular vote. It disproportionately favors certain states, ignores millions of voters, and undermines the fundamental democratic principle of "one person, one vote."
Every American vote should carry the same weight, but right now, your voice counts differently depending on where you live. We can do much better for our people.
We need a fair, straightforward system that truly represents the will of the people.
