| Jason, Before November comes to a close, we've been thinking a lot about how far we've come this year – and where we're headed next. Together, we did something extraordinary. We took heartbreak and anger and turned it into action. We organized, we knocked on doors, we shared our stories. And this month, against all odds, Mainers passed Extreme Risk Protection Orders. Because of you, families and law enforcement will finally have a tool to step in when someone is in crisis and temporarily remove access to firearms. That means more chances to prevent suicide, more chances to stop violence before it happens, and more chances for families to keep the people they love safe. But our work doesn't end with one victory on one ballot question. Looking ahead, we're focused on electing champions in Augusta who will vote for public safety, strengthening safe storage laws so kids can't get their hands on unsecured guns, and limiting large-capacity magazines that make mass shootings deadlier. All of that will take organizing, advocacy, and resources. And as this month comes to an end, we're setting a goal to finish November strong so we can hit the ground running in 2026. If you're able, will you make an end-of-month contribution today to help us build on this year's progress and keep fighting for a safer Maine? |
| Thank you for everything you've done this year. Now, together, we'll keep changing lives. Maine Gun Safety Coalition |
