| Jason, The case of Narciso Barranco, the father of three US Marines, who was violently detained by ICE, was covered by CBS. |
| As his attorney, I took on ICE in court and secured a dismissal of his deportation case, even over the objections of ICE's own trial attorneys. That victory mattered. It meant he could stay with his family and begin the process toward permanent status. But now the federal government has appealed that decision, and his future is once again in limbo. I will continue fighting against our unjust immigration system to make sure Narciso is able to stay in the country he now calls home. Narciso's case is just one of thousands across the US: working people, families, just looking to work and build a life here, being treated as criminals. I've spent my career standing up in court and fighting back against that system. Now, I'm taking that fight to Congress to demand accountability, reform a broken system, and make sure families like Narciso's aren't forced to live in fear. With our FEC filing deadline approaching, will you chip in $10 to help me keep fighting for families like Narciso's across the country? |
