| Jason, Last month on Meidas Touch, I said what needs to be said: silence protects the powerful. Accountability protects survivors. |
| That's why I'm grateful to the New Mexico Legislature for passing the Zorro Ranch investigation bill. Let's be clear about what we're talking about. Jeffrey Epstein was one of the most horrific sex traffickers in this country's history. And here in New Mexico, there is a ranch connected to him where serious questions remain unanswered. We don't know the details of what happened there. But we're going to find out. And if laws were broken, if people were harmed, if anyone used their power to escape accountability, we will hold them accountable. That's not politics. That's right and wrong. As DA, I've spent my career standing up for victims and taking on difficult cases, no matter how powerful the people involved may be. This is no different. But I'm also running for Governor because accountability shouldn't depend on who's in power. It should be a guarantee for every New Mexican. If you believe in leadership that doesn't look the other way, that doesn't stay silent, and that fights for the truth, I'm asking you to stand with us. Will you chip in $10 today to help us keep building this campaign? |
