Mitch McConnell has no honor, no moral compass, no guiding principles. And bit by bit he is destroying our democracy.

This is the sheer pursuit of power for power's sake. Nothing more.

Jason—for 36 years, Mitch McConnell has shown that Kentuckians are at the very bottom on his list of concerns. Over the last few days, that's been clearer than ever.

Mitch has spent four months dragging his feet on bipartisan COVID-19 relief—saying he didn't feel "urgency" to have a plan while millions struggle to pay bills, avoid eviction, and figure out how to get their kids back to school.

But this weekend, he leapt into action less than two hours after news broke of Justice Ginsburg's death and declared that the Senate would vote on her replacement without delay—even though it would violate the rule he himself set in 2016. Then he lined up the votes it'll take to confirm a nominee, all before the president has even named his pick.

It's always been this way—Mitch putting his party ahead of the job he was elected to do.

Mitch McConnell has no honor, no moral compass, no guiding principles other than sheer power for power's sake. And he is, bit by bit, destroying our democracy.

He must be defeated.

Chip in $25 or more now and let's go get it done.

Thank you,
Amy
