My opponent is a disgrace - but he could still win

He's accountable to the people

Jason,

In the face of a massive public health and economic crisis, David Perdue had a chance to be a leader.

But David Perdue failed.

He didn’t warn the public about the threat of the virus, he opposed $1,200 stimulus checks, and he’s not pushing for critical economic relief even now. Instead, he managed his stock portfolio while the pandemic raged and his constituents got sick.

David Perdue is not even pretending that he will be accountable to the people in a second term. He’s not bothering to show up to our debate this afternoon. I’ll be on stage next to an empty podium!

Right now, we are neck and neck in this runoff, meaning despite his failures, he’s still got a great chance to win re-election. That’s why I’m asking for your support today, Jason: Will you make a donation before our “debate” to show Perdue that you’re watching him, whether he shows up to debate or not?

In our last debate in October, I called Perdue a “crook.” But we didn’t even know the half of it back then, Jason.

Profiting from a Navy contractor's stock while overseeing the Naval fleet.

Trading bank stocks while sitting on the Senate Banking Committee.

And of course all of the stock buying and dumping he was doing after a classified Senate briefing on COVID-19 in January.

With his stock portfolio demanding all his attention, Perdue was barely even pretending to do his job, which is to serve the people of Georgia.

Time and time again, Perdue has tried to abuse his power in the Senate to enrich himself, even while his constituents face an unprecedented public health and economic crisis.

David Perdue needs to answer for his flagrant corruption and misconduct. He’s not showing up to our debate today to answer questions. But he will answer for his corruption and self-dealing on January 5, when we defeat him. Jason, chip in right now to help me win >>
