I've got some news.

I am proud to lead the DNC.

Jason--

When I set out to launch Dirt Road PAC, I had one goal in mind: Expanding the map for Democrats.

I believe that when Democrats lay the groundwork, and compete everywhere, we can pull off the unimaginable. We saw it in November with record Democratic voter turnout in South Carolina, and we saw it again just last week when Georgia flipped the Senate.

Now, I am honored that President-elect Biden has asked me to bring that vision with me to lead the Democratic National Committee -- and as one of my strongest supporters, I wanted you to be among the first to know!

I'm truly honored by this endorsement. I'm as ready as ever to invest in every ZIP Code to help elect candidates that know and represent their communities. And I am asking folks like you -- who have been by my side since day one -- to join me in building on our progress by chipping in to help build a stronger DNC:

DONATE

Jason, I'm no stranger to the struggles so many Americans are facing. As the son of a single teenage mom in Orangeburg, South Carolina, my grandparents raised me. I knew what it was like to choose between paying the electric bill and putting food on the table. I knew what it was like to eat cereal with water, because we couldn't afford milk. I've dedicated my life to making things just a little bit easier for folks like my grandparents, and I'm going to bring those memories and values with me to my work at the DNC.

We have a lot of work to do in the coming months and years to heal our country, and to build back better. I believe that we can move the DNC into the future by making ourselves accessible to all Americans, and piece by piece we can restore the belief in the promise of America.

If you're ready for a Democratic Party that competes everywhere, and elects candidates who represent their communities, I hope you'll invest in the DNC today. We've got work to do, and I can't wait to get started!

Thank you for being with me on this journey so far. Let's get to work!

Please read the following message from Jaime Harrison:

When we started this journey to bring hope back to our politics, we knew it would be hard and it would be long. Nothing worth doing is ever easy. We started a movement, a cause that brought millions of people together on this journey for unity and the future of America.

That journey — to heal our divisions, remind ourselves there is more that unites than divides us, that the real battles aren’t between right and left but between right and wrong, that journey, no matter how hard, must continue. That’s why I've launched “Dirt Road PAC” to make sure the work goes on to protect democracy, elect leaders who will bring us together, and restore a belief in the promise of America.

The mission of the “Dirt Road PAC” will begin in the Senate runoffs in Georgia, continue to the 2021 elections in Virginia, work on voter registration and build to help candidates and parties across the country in the mid term elections in 2022.

For me, this journey started on a dirt road in rural South Carolina. But we've got many miles left to travel -- I hope you'll join me in supporting Dirt Road PAC today.
