| Jason-- We're coming up on a critical election in Georgia. For the second time in just a few months, Georgia has the chance to go blue! But we wouldn't be where we are, at the beginning of the New South, without the years of hard work done by grassroots organizers on the ground. Today, I'd like to highlight one particular organization that has contributed to the Democratic successes in Georgia: The Southwest Georgia Project. The Southwest Georgia Project has been around for over sixty years, working across 14 counties to engage and empower communities through grassroots organizing. They've built an amazing legacy of organizing for a better future in the South, and they've brought that legacy of grassroots organizing to the Senate runoff elections this year. Jason, I hope you'll join me in chipping in to support the critical work that the Southwest Georgia Project does to empower communities across southwest Georgia. We would not be where we are today, at the precipice of a New South, without the decades of work of organizers with groups like the Southwest Georgia Project. As we approach another crucial election that may flip the Senate in our favor, I hope you'll join me in supporting one of the groups that made this moment possible. Thank you, Jaime Harrison |
