Tonight is our big FEC fundraising deadline.
Soon, we'll report our progress in the effort to defeat some of the ringleaders of January 6th.
I have a hunch there are a lot of people waiting to see what this team can do. That's why I set a goal of reaching 10,000 grassroots donations in our campaign to take on the Sedition Caucus in Congress. We're still 332 away — and we have until midnight to get there.
You're probably getting a lot of emails like this right now. So you don't need me to repeat that today is an important fundraising deadline for the next election. If you can, I hope you decide there's a cause or two worthy of your donation.
Let me take a minute to make a case for your support of this project.
The truth is so much is on the line in the next election. We are already seeing signs that the other side is running farther away from being reasonable and toward the extreme elements that helped make January 6th happen. And personally I believe that if we fail to defeat some of the worst members of the Sedition Caucus in Congress, our democracy will pay the price.
Our team is serious about not spending all of our resources on expensive TV ads that are unlikely to move the needle. We're investing in proven, data-driven tactics — and in amplifying the voices of real people on the ground in Colorado and Wisconsin.
