Jason,
Today, I want to fill you in on a Senate election in Pennsylvania that CNN is calling the #1 race in the country.
A friend of mine, Conor Lamb, is running to flip that seat from Republican control and help Democrats hold on to their razor-thin majority in the Senate, and keep Mitch McConnell's hands off the gavel. If you've already heard enough, you can chip in to support Conor's campaign right now.
Conor is a fellow Marine veteran, a former federal prosecutor, and a member of Congress who's beaten Trump's Republican candidates in battleground races three times in three years. He believes in science, facts, and the Constitution. He believes unions deserve a place at the center of our public life, just as they had in the past, when they helped build the strongest middle class in the history of the world.
As Marines, Conor and I both know that nothing is more important than protecting our country and the people who call it home. That's why I was proud to watch Conor stand up to the Sedition Caucus after the January 6th attack on our Capitol with his impassioned floor speech that spoke the truth about what happened that day.
We need a leader like Conor in the Senate. We need new energy and honest leadership that calls out lies with facts.
Look, this election in Pennsylvania could be the difference between a Democratically controlled Senate and one back in the hands of Mitch McConnell. It could be the difference between expanding health care access, supporting working families and protecting our democracy -- or handing power over to those who still serve Donald Trump.
Losing is not an option.
Conor Lamb has what it takes to win this race, but he needs folks like you standing with him. Will you chip in $5 or more to his campaign right now?
Thank you, Amy
