Jason,
The other day, we told you about Rep. Lauren Boebert's fundraising haul in her last FEC report — raising nearly $1 million as a reward for being one of the ringleaders on January 6th.
Now, the Denver Post is reporting that Boebert might have broken campaign finance law, paying rent and utility bills with campaign cash. This follows on the heels of an August report that she failed to disclose hundreds of thousands of dollars that her husband made lobbying for gas and oil companies.
This is corruption, plain and simple. And she probably thinks she'll get away with it.
Tomorrow's FEC deadline is our first test in the effort to hold Lauren Boebert accountable. Right now, we're still 612 donations away from our goal. Chip in right now, and let's help end Lauren Boebert's political career.
Whether it's the lies they perpetuate (but don't actually believe) about the 2020 election or the laws they ignore while raking in campaign funds — they're always trying to pull one over on the voters. Deep down, it seems they believe that no matter what they say or do, they have enough loyal partisans who will have their backs.
In 2020, Donald Trump found out he was wrong about that... And in 2022, our team will help bring the same comeuppance to Sen. Johnson and Rep. Boebert.
Thank you, Amy
