Lauren Boebert is raking in cash

This is disgusting, Jason.   Some members of the Sedition Caucus in Congress are seeing windfalls in political donations — all because of the role they played on January 6th.    One of these beneficiaries is Lauren Boebert, who reported raising over $900,000 and having $1.26 million in her bank account in her last FEC report. Those are astronomical numbers for a House race that's still more than a year out from Election Day.   That's why this moment is so important for our campaign to kick Lauren Boebert out of Congress. We're still getting this work off the ground, and we can't afford to get out to a slow start. My team tells me we're still 920 donations away from our target — chip in right now, and help reach our grassroots donation goal before this week's deadline. People died. A violent mob openly called for the hanging of the Vice President of the United States. Members of Congress' lives were threatened.   And now some members of Congress are using the events of that day as fodder for campaign cash. We've already seen Sen. Ron Johnson, our other top target for the midterms, downplay the rioters as a "normal tourist visit"... but fundraising off of deadly violence is beyond shameful.     Here's the thing: Their lies and their open contempt for democracy are already dangerous. But if they skate through to re-election in the wake of all they did on January 6th, what we saw that day is only the beginning.    Right now, they're being rewarded for their seditious behavior. It's up to us to make sure reality snaps back and hits them where it hurts.
