Jason,
Axios just released an in-depth analysis of the 2024 electorate and came to this conclusion:
This election is going to be decided by 6% of voters in just six battleground states.
That's similar to what we've been seeing in our data. But there's one big piece of the puzzle that shouldn't get missed: There's a specific group of voters in each of those top battlegrounds that are winnable, if we put the time and energy to reach them.
You probably know I call this group pro-democracy voters, because they are repulsed by Donald Trump's undemocratic behavior. They see the threat he poses to the future of our republic. And our research shows that, if we build our case correctly, they will refuse to vote for Trump.
Now consider the fact that there are millions of these voters living in key states — just think about how critical it is to reach them, consistently, through the fall. If you can, chip in today to help fund this program.
A lot of these pro-democracy voters hail from military backgrounds, either veterans themselves or coming from military families. Many of them have voted Republican throughout their lives. But they also don't see this as a typical election.
What we've found is the most trusted messengers for this group tend to come from similar backgrounds — patriots who've devoted their careers to serving their country in one form or another and have tended to keep their nose out of politics. These folks are speaking out now because Trump wants to undo democracy as we know it.
My goal is to reach as many of those pro-democracy voters with these patriotic voices as possible before November. If we do that, the data tells us Trump will lose.
I'm asking you to invest in this work to make that outcome a reality — make a donation today and let's defeat Trumpism for good.
Thank you,
Amy
