Just when you thought Alaska Republicans couldn't stoop any lower, they go and pull something like this. Now, they're going after our children and attacking the most vulnerable among us. |
| School should be a place where our children can feel safe, accepted, and motivated to achieve their greatest potential. No child should have to go to school afraid that they are going to be treated differently or penalized simply for being who they are–and this bill does just that!
Rather than focusing on delivering for Alaska's families, Alaska Republicans are targeting an incredibly small group of people and attacking our children for the sake of scoring political points.
It's never been more important to secure a veto-proof majority that will put our students first and fight to ensure that every person in our state is able to thrive and feel safe to be who they are.
