Jason, Once again, Alaska Democrats in the state legislature stood up against Gov. Mike Dunleavy and his anti-public school allies to support Alaska's public schools.
Gov. Dunleavy's appointee, Bob Griffin, has spent the last 5 years on the state Board of Education advocating against increasing funding for Alaska's public schools and instead wants to allow the use of public funds to pay for private school tuition. Not only that, but after Gov. Dunleavy vetoed the education bill–which included the largest increase to BSA funding in Alaska history and passed with overwhelming support in the state legislature–Bob Griffin lobbied lawmakers NOT to override the veto. Alaska's public schools are in the midst of a major teacher recruitment and retention crisis, and our students need leaders who will support our public schools and give our children the education they deserve. Will you chip in $10 to help us elect pro-public school champions across Alaska?
For the love of Alaska, Alaska Dems
