Jason, Universal pre-k and 3-k transformed lives across New York City. Guaranteeing preschool for every child was a boost to public education and a lifesaver for working parents. But now we're at risk of going back to the days when every family was on its own. Cutting $400 million from schools over the last two years? Dismantling early education and not promising full after-school for our kids? That's not a mayoral administration. That's minimalist. We have to be better than we've ever been. Our kids had the COVID lapse. It's not their fault. They were locked up in apartments for a year and a half. We have to do everything we can. That means we have to double down on 3k and pre-k and give them a start. And we need universal after-school. Learning lasts all day. Think of it as an investment in a stronger city. A safer city. When I'm mayor, we won't be cutting our kids and shortchanging our families. We will fund pre-k, 3k, and after-school. But I need your help. If you are with me, I need you to donate right now.
