Alaska Democrats in the state legislature introduced an amendment to the budget that would help cover the cost of reduced-price meals to provide free school breakfast and lunch for our students. The amendment passed with overwhelming support, with Wasilla Republican Rep. David Eastman being the sole vote against it. Feeding our students is just the first step to addressing food insecurity, and we need your help to build up our state-wide grassroots team so we can elect Democrats across Alaska and continue delivering for Alaska students!
