Something serious is happening in Georgia: federal agents just raided the Fulton County Board of Elections.
It's no coincidence that Donald Trump is raiding the Fulton County Board of Elections and stepping up his attacks on democracy in Georgia the very same week that his administration has demanded voter rolls in Minnesota as ransom to stop ICE's violence.
This is a sustained pattern of attacks on democratic institutions and the rights of voters. |
| This isn't normal. It isn't acceptable. And it isn't who we are.
Here's the simple truth: When democracy is under assault, leadership matters.
That's why I'm calling on Georgia's leaders to answer a direct question: |
| Are you standing up for Georgians' rights and for the integrity of our elections, or will you stand by while these attacks continue? |
| If Donald Trump tries to bring this kind of authoritarian playbook to Georgia when I'm governor, he'll have to go through me.
I need to ask you to stand tall with me so we can defend democracy in our state. Will you chip in to my campaign and save Georgia from attacks like this? |
| I refuse to let anyone — inside or outside our state — undermine our democratic process or intimidate voters.
