| Jason, It's Bill Hill. I'm running for Congress because I believe that working hard should mean making a decent living. I'm a Bristol Bay commercial fisherman, construction worker, teacher, and former union member. Growing up in Alaska, we chopped wood to heat our house, packed water from a lake, and even washed our clothes by hand. I'm running for Congress to fight for Alaskan values in Washington, but to get there, I need your help. Can I count on you to join the team by donating today? Here in Alaska, hard work is a part of our everyday life. We even enjoy it! But more and more, our hard work isn't enough. Working Alaskans — and Americans — are increasingly seeing costs go up at the grocery store, in our healthcare premiums, and on everyday essentials. It's all because of a system that keeps putting corporations and billionaires ahead of everyone else. We can't afford to have less money in our pockets so that billionaires can line their own. I'm not a millionaire. Some months, I'm a thousandaire, some months I'm a hundredaire. I don't know any billionaires, but our representative, Nick Begich, knows plenty. They fund his campaign, and in turn, he protects their interests over those of hard-working Alaskans. I'm running for Congress because I believe Alaskans should be able to earn a good living and enjoy freedom from corporations and special interests. But making things work for working people is going to take all of us chipping in. Will you chip in anything you can to my campaign today? |
