| Jason, I recently wrote an Op-Ed for the Santa Fe New Mexican, making one thing clear: New Mexico's leaders must act now to protect working families and push back against Trump's agenda. |
| Here's what that looks like: πExpanding our healthcare workforce by passing interstate compacts so doctors and nurses can start serving New Mexicans πLower housing costs by building affordable housing, supporting first-time buyers, and cracking down on rent-setting schemes πPut more money back in paychecks by expanding the Child Tax Credit and the Working Families Tax Credit πLower prescription drug costs and eliminate state taxes on medical services πProtect seniors and families on fixed incomes from rising property taxes and utility bills These aren't talking points. They're real solutions that can deliver relief right now. Families across our state are being squeezed by rising costs in housing, groceries, utilities, and healthcare – all while Washington politicians push reckless policies that make our lives worse. The governor and the legislature have made important steps, but the work isn't finished. New Mexico needs leadership that's ready to fight Trump's threats against programs like Medicaid, SNAP, and public education. It's why I'm running for Governor. But we're headed to our first reporting deadline of the year, and we're falling short of our goal. Can I count on you to chip in $25 or whatever you can to deliver our message to New Mexicans and end this month on a strong note? |
Thanks for standing with me, Sam Bregman |
