Jason, Friend-to-friend and relative-to-relative conversations that lead to collective action are the foundation of grassroots organizing. Even so, relational organizing programs are underinvested in despite studies showing how impactful it is in creating change. Traditional campaign outreach strategies such as phone banking and door-knocking tend to have single-digit contact rates. In contrast, relational organizing has higher contact rates–86% and more, allowing campaigns to expand their outreach and talk to thousands of voters missed by traditional campaign outreach programs. We're fighting to build a lasting movement by going back to the basics of grassroots organizing and empowering local relational organizers with the tools they need to continue working in their communities through 2024 and beyond. To ensure we have the resources we need to build successful relational organizing programs in key battleground states and help elect Democrats across the country, we've set an ambitious $10,000 October fundraising goal. Will you chip in whatever you can afford right now to help us reach our fundraising goal and build the largest relational organizing program in history? |
