It seems like every recent election has hinged on what happens in Georgia. In fact, I started Democratic Majority Action PAC in the aftermath of the 2020 election, when the Senate majority came down to runoffs there — one day before Donald Trump inspired an insurrection. Once again, Georgia is the frontline in the fight for democracy. In 2020, Joe Biden won Georgia by just 12,760 votes. That's a margin so slim, it made Donald Trump think his allies could "find" enough votes to make up for it. Our focus on pro-democracy voters looms large in this year's election. We've identified 904,068 folks in Georgia alone who fall in this part of the electorate — over 70 times as large as the 2020 margin of victory. These folks might typically lean Republican, but our research suggests they are deeply worried about what a second Trump term would mean for our democracy — they can be won over, if we do the work to reach them. Make a donation to fund that voter outreach today. Trump's track record with our military speaks volumes, and it gives us a real opening with pro-democracy voters — many of whom come from military families or are veterans themselves. Trump's words and actions have repeatedly dishonored those who've served our nation. And in these final weeks before Election Day, every single attempt we make to reach out to these voters could alter the course of our democracy. We have precious little time to connect with these pro-democracy voters — we have a plan to do so aggressively with the most effective messengers. But where we can execute this plan depends on supporters like you. Will you contribute anything you can afford to fund our outreach to pro-democracy voters in battleground states like Georgia before Election Day? As the clock ticks down, every single voter matters — your support will help secure the future of our democracy.
