 Happy Saturday, Jason! It's Elyse, Scott's wife. As you might imagine, weekends in our household have become a bit more chaotic lately. This weekend is no exception! Scott and I are about to head out to talk to more voters, but I wanted to reach out before tonight's end-of-month fundraising deadline. Will you chip in $25 (becomes $225 if you're an eligible NYC resident) to help reach Scott's fundraising goal by midnight tonight? I've been on the campaign trail with Scott every time he's run for public office since we met. I may be his wife, but no one believes in Scott like I do. And that's because I see what goes on behind the scenes. The hours Scott spends workshopping policies to make NYC safer and more affordable, practicing speeches to give in front of the press, scheduling times and places to talk to voters across the city. He's passionate about this work, Jason. He's spent his entire career trying to do what's best for New Yorkers, and his record proves that he's smart, capable, and productive. But here's the thing: Primary Election Day is 24 days away. There are still a lot of New Yorkers that don't know Scott like you and I do, and we need to reach those folks. I'm doing everything I can to help my husband not only accomplish his dream, but help New Yorkers accomplish theirs. With Scott in office, the likelihood of that will only be higher.
