Jason,

Let me be crystal clear: I will vote NO on the House shutdown "deal".

Why? Because any deal that doesn't tackle the healthcare crisis that Republicans caused is no deal at all.

If you agree that House Democrats must stand strong and hold the line, add your name right now:

ADD YOUR NAME

Republicans have tried to back us into a corner — demanding that we choose between keeping healthcare affordable, feeding families, and paying the federal workers who keep our country running.

That's not governing — that's cruelty, dressed up as compromise.

But the truth is, this shutdown bill doesn't deliver for the American people. Republicans say they'll "consider" a vote to extend ACA tax credits — but we've seen this show before. An empty promise won't stop premiums from doubling or tripling for millions of hardworking Americans.

For me, there is no deal without a firm commitment to keep healthcare costs from spiraling out of control here in the Fighting Fifth and across the country.

Jason, if you're with me, sign on right now and tell Republicans there is no deal when healthcare for millions of Americans is on the line.

SIGN ON

Thanks for standing with me in this fight.
