As an educator, social scientist, and parent, I know the smartest investment we can make—for our economy, our families, and our democracy—is in education.   I've spent my career building learning and publishing businesses that use technology to open doors for students. I know how to deliver results that actually change lives.   And right now, the stakes couldn't be higher. Parents are choosing between rent and after-school programs. Teachers are underpaid, overworked, and asked to do more with less. Students—especially in overlooked communities—are being left behind.   That's not just a policy failure. It's a moral failure.
