Hi Jason,
Like many of you, I'm frustrated by the growing instability in our government and the uncertainty facing our country. As an educator, social scientist, and parent, I know the smartest investment we can make—for our economy, our families, and our democracy—is in education.
I've spent my career building learning and publishing businesses that use technology to open doors for students. I know how to deliver results that actually change lives.
And right now, the stakes couldn't be higher.
- Parents are choosing between rent and after-school programs.
- Teachers are underpaid, overworked, and asked to do more with less.
- Students—especially in overlooked communities—are being left behind.
That's not just a policy failure. It's a moral failure. We are holding back the very kids who are supposed to power our future.
That's why I'm running for Congress in IL-08.
For over a decade, I've fought to strengthen our education system by:
- Expanding affordable pathways for college, vocational training, and apprenticeships
- Modernizing curricula for a rapidly changing economy
- Ensuring classrooms have the technology and support they need
- Treating teachers like the professionals they are—with fair pay and real respect
I'm committed to restoring trust in a system that should lift every child—not limit their potential based on family income or ZIP code.
If you believe education is the backbone of the American Dream, I'm asking you to help power this campaign so we can bring these priorities to Congress.
Every contribution—$5, $10, $15, or whatever you can give—helps us reach more voters and make education the priority it should be.
