| Jason, At Camp Pendleton alone, there have been five Marine families that have been unlawfully detained and deported by ICE. Military Parole in Place is a program designed to provide the families of our active military personnel temporary permission to remain in the US while their loved ones serve our country. Because of this incredible program, people like Narciso Barranco, a father of three Marines, are able to stay in the United States with their families. However, ICE is recklessly and unlawfully tearing apart our military families. Our servicemen and women should not have to worry about being separated from their families while putting their lives on the line for our country. This Veterans Day, I'm standing with our veterans and their families. I will protect them in Congress, because they deserve the same peace and security that they fight for every day to defend for us. Veterans should be honored in the way that they deserve, including in their place of rest. I'm proud to support the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, and I will continue to work to make it a reality. If you believe in this mission, I'm asking you to stand with me today. Will you make a contribution to my campaign today so that I can continue standing up for our veterans and military families? |
| With gratitude, Lisa Ramirez |
