He’s running, and he’s dangerous

Jason,

We knew the race for Arizona's 1st Congressional District would be a battle, and the stakes just skyrocketed.

Joseph Chaplik, a founder of the far-right Arizona Freedom Caucus, just officially entered the race.

Chaplik isn't a typical Republican. He is a hardliner who has spent his time in the state legislature pushing culture war distractions instead of solving problems. From attacking our public schools to co-sponsoring bills that would undermine our democracy, he represents the most extreme wing of his party.

While he fights to drag us backward, I'm running to move Arizona forward.

I'm running to protect the American Dream that allowed a first-generation college grad like me to build a business and raise a family here. I'm running to ensure healthcare is a right, not a privilege, because I know firsthand what it's like to fight for your life against an insurance company.

The GOP is going to spend the next year trying to out-MAGA each other. We can't wait to see who emerges from their chaos. We need to build a strong coalition now to ensure a problem solving Democrat who represents you flips this seat in November.

Can you chip in $50 or even $25 today so we enter 2026 prepared to take on this threat? We need to show Chaplik that Arizona is ready for real leadership, not more extremism.
