| Jason, Health is one of our most valuable assets as human beings, and last week, Senate Republicans voted against extending Affordable Care Act tax credits. Millions of Americans will now see premiums more than double or lose their coverage completely. In 2024, these subsidies lowered average premium payments by more than 50% for marketplace enrollees. Extending these subsidies would have been a commonsense solution to ensuring that Americans can continue to afford healthcare, but Republicans voted it down. Washington is not listening to or paying attention to the needs of working Americans. We need leaders who will fight tooth and nail for working people, who think about how policy impacts families and seniors, not about lining their own pockets or protecting their own power. As the GOP works against making life more affordable, I'm running to build a government that works for us. Our FEC deadline is around the corner, and I need your help. Hitting our end-of-year goal is critical if we want to stay competitive going into the election year. Will you join me in this fight for affordable healthcare by contributing ahead of our upcoming FEC deadline? |
