Hi Jason, it's Katie Hobbs, Governor of Arizona. Let me tell you why this election matters: Donald Trump refuses to let go of his 2020 loss, and his administration is officially coming after Arizona to relitigate the presidential election.
This move to subpoena Arizona for voting records comes after the FBI raided an elections office in another swing state, and as Trump continues to push conspiracy theories about voter fraud that cost him the 2020 race.
We can't afford to lose this governor's seat to a Trump-endorsed 2020 election denier in November, Jason. Rush a split $10 to support myself and the Voter Protection Project now →
Why? So he can justify rolling back our voting rights and giving the federal government more power over elections.
This is exactly why this year's gubernatorial election is so critical: I'm being challenged by Andy Biggs, a Trump-backed MAGA congressman who voted against certifying the 2020 election results and was reportedly involved in planning the Jan. 6th insurrection.
If Biggs wins this toss-up seat, there's no telling what he'll do in 2028, but he already has a record of putting Trump before Arizonans and the Constitution.
As Secretary of State, I protected our democracy and will always stand up against election deniers and fight to protect the integrity of Arizona's elections as governor.
Our future free and fair elections are at stake this November. Can I count on you to split a contribution between my campaign and the Voter Protection Project?
