I just introduced a bill to protect Michigan families

I refuse to simply sit and wait for the next gun tragedy. We've seen too many mass shootings, too many lives lost, and too many gun manufacturers getting rich off of our pain.

 

Jason, I refuse to simply sit and wait for the next gun tragedy. We've seen too many mass shootings, too many lives lost, and too many gun manufacturers getting rich off of our pain. That's why I recently introduced a bill to ban high-capacity magazines in Michigan, because weapons of mass destruction should not be on our streets. The fact is, wealthy gun manufacturers don't care about our safety. They continue to push products that are designed for mass destruction, all while making millions off the destruction of communities. I say it's time to hold them accountable. My bill takes aim at these high-capacity magazines, which are often used in the deadliest mass shootings. We need to prevent these weapons from falling into the wrong hands and stop mass shootings before they happen. I'm asking for your help today.
