An update (with real numbers)

Jason,   I'm going to ask for a donation at the end of this email, because our first big FEC deadline of the 2022 election is just days away.    But first I want you to know why this deadline matters.   Our team has a new mission — it's tough, but absolutely essential: Defeating the members of Congress who are actively trying to dismantle our democracy. This is the so-called "Sedition Caucus," folks who helped fuel the flames that led to the attack on the Capitol, and who right now probably think they're going to get away with it.    We're planning to make their political lives hell in the months ahead. We're not going to do that by pouring millions into TV ads that don't work. We're doing the hard work of mobilizing people in their districts and amplifying the voices of people willing to speak out to a level that can't be ignored. If we do our jobs, every voter next November will remember the role these members of Congress played in the attack on our democracy — no matter how much they try to sweep it under the rug.    We announced our first target race for 2022: Wisconsin, where we can defeat Sen. Ron Johnson and prevent Mitch McConnell from getting his job back as majority leader. We plan to announce more targets soon.   That's where you come in. This FEC deadline will help determine our budget for the months ahead.
