ActBlue turned 17 this week. We're so grateful you're part of the small-dollar donor movement and want to celebrate your journey with us over the past year.

Our story starts in 2004, when our co-founders Ben and Matt, technologists and friends, had an idea: If donating to campaigns and organizations was easy and accessible, more people would be able to run for office, and our democracy would be powered by people, not big money.

You made your first contribution on SEP 19, 2020. We spent the next decade building our infrastructure to support down-ballot races. People started chipping in $3, $5, $10 to take on mega-donors and inspire change.

You made 4 contributions via ActBlue over the past year. 2016 marked a new era for small-dollar donors. We launched AB Charities so 501(c)(3) nonprofits could also create grassroots fundraising programs.

You supported 3 group(s) over the past year.

Grassroots donors fueled the historic 2018 midterm election, helping Democrats take back the House and secure hundreds of victories at the state and local level.

In 2020, small-dollar donors powered change that will be felt for years to come. Millions of people donated for the first time to candidates and causes, proving once again that grassroots movements are here to stay.

10,117,933 donors nationwide were first-time donors last election cycle!
