Washington, D.C. residents have no real representation in Congress. While residents are able to vote in elections, their elected officials have ZERO voting power themselves. That's simply undemocratic, Jason! If D.C. becomes a state, it will likely add 2 Democratic senators who will fight to protect the right to vote.
